ADS [1793] to Major Jonathan Cass.

A Signer of the Constitution from New Hampshire, served as a Revolutionary soldier and as a member of the Confederation Congress. He went on to represent his state in both the House and Senate. This document is a pay order in which Gilman directs the Secretary of New Hampshire to issue 17 pounds to Major Jonathan Cass, who attained the rank of major in February 1793, has signed a receipt for the funds on the verso.
